Galata Antique Hotel sits in the heart of Galata, one of the oldest trade centers in Europe, and is conveniently situated in Beyoglu, a crossroads of culture. A.Vallaury, was a famous 19th century architect, has build Pera Palace and Istanbul Archeological Museum, and has also built "Galata Antique" as a mansion for a French Businessman in 1881.

The building is restored in 2001. The original architectural style of the building has been preserved and the hand engravings have been created by Mimar Sinan Arts Faculty staff.
